Abstract

 The study aims to elucidate the legal regulation of electronic games in Palestinian legislation. This study seeks to highlight the existence of such legal regulation, if any, and emphasize the importance of this type of games and their impact on society, players, producers, and developers. The research presents a crucial point that must be considered in the legal regulation of electronic games, which is their legal nature and fundamental reference, the study followed a descriptive and analytical approach to elucidate the definition of electronic games and gather relevant information about them. Subsequently, this information was analyzed to arrive at the legal framework governing them through modern technological means.

 The study concluded that electronic games are a type of sport that falls under the purview of the Olympic Committee, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and sports legislation, It is necessary to develop new legislation that takes into account the impact of these games on their participants and establishes a clear legal foundation for their regulation and the protection of players and users.
