Naughtiness in the Holy Qur’an: A terminological study

Abstract

Search for the truth of the term " Naughtiness" in its Quranic conception based on a well-established scientific approach, aiming to understand the importance of Naughtiness in the Quran to liberate humanity from dependence and desires. Man was created to worship the Creator, and there is no good for this nation except by following God’s guidance that avoids misguidance and Naughtiness.

This deep understanding allows one to follow the law that the Creator has established for his servants as a reward for them in this world and in the hereafter. This research deals with the term “Naughtiness” through a terminological study, in an attempt to study its concept in the Holy Qur’an.

  The term “Naughtiness” in the Holy Quran is distinguished by the importance of its subject and its forms, the meaning varying according to the context. This confirms its position in the Quranic terminological system.
