Abstract

 This research aims to elucidate the warranty in manufacturing and parallel manufacturing contracts, according to their stages, and the implications thereof.

 The study followed a descriptive approach in investigating, collecting, and studying the issues of this research, as well as an analytical approach in analyzing the texts and understanding their meanings. The research concluded a set of results, the most important of which is that the warranty takes effect in the stages of the manufacturing contract from the time of contracting, during the commencement of manufacturing, upon completion of manufacturing and before inspection, and upon inspection of the manufactured product by the manufacturer, based on the necessity of the manufacturing contract in all the mentioned stages, and as stipulated in Standard No. (11) Issued by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions. This is outlined in the folds of the research when studying each stage separately, and who is responsible for the warranty and what it includes in both manufacturing and parallel manufacturing contracts. The study recommends focusing on issues related to contractual warranties associated with Islamic finance formats, and directing them from a jurisprudential and legal perspective as a comparative study.
