Imam Al-Bukhari’s approach to the biographies and chains of transmission of the Book of Faith and Vows in his Sahih

Abstract

The study deals with an inductive and analytical approach, the approach of Imam al-Bukhari in the biographies and chains of transmission of his book, Faiths and Vows, in “Al-Jami’ al-Sahih al-Mukhtasar al-Musnad of the Affairs of the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - and his Sunnahs and Days,” known as “Sahih al-Bukhari.” The study begins with a brief definition of Imam al-Bukhari and his book. In the first section, then Imam al-Bukhari’s approach to the biographies of the Book of Oaths and Vows after extrapolating and analyzing them, defining them, and presenting the method I arrived at. In this second section, after that, the hadiths contained in the Book of Oaths and Vows in Sahih Imam al-Bukhari were divided according to the nature of their chain of transmission into three sections: the hadiths that he cited. Imam Al-Bukhari, as a protest in the book “Oaths and Vows”, its quality, definition, number, methods of presenting it, and his approach to it. The third section is devoted to it, and it is the purpose of Imam Al-Bukhari in his book. The second section was devoted to the fourth section, which are the hadiths that Imam al-Bukhari cited as a discussion of the argument in the Book of Oaths and Vows, explaining its types in each request, observing his approach to each request in it. As for the third and final section, it includes the refutable hadiths that appear to be a discussion of the protest and in reality they are invoked due to the validity of their chain of transmission, and this I have singled out. In the fifth section, explaining Imam Bukhari’s approach to it. The research concluded with a conclusion that contains the most important results and recommendations reached by the study.
