Abstract

This study dealt with the hadiths that Ibn Ammar the Martyr criticized Imam Muslim in his Sahih, and they are not found in his Sahih book. This study came to explain the reason for the absence of these hadiths in the printed copies of Sahih Muslim, and to study these hadiths as an applied study according to the rules of the hadith craft, with a brief introduction to the critic (Ibn Ammar the Martyr) and his book Al-Ilal, The study reached several results, including: The difference in versions is the reason for the lack of these hadiths in our hands today, and the scholars’ complaint about the differences in versions of books is old and repeated, and Al-Suyuti stated this statement, when he presented the hadith that Ibn Ammar criticized, which is the hadith of Al-Qawariri, and he said: “So it was in Sahih Muslim in something other than the well-known narration, for it is multiple narrations.
