Abstract

This study presents educational reflections on the Quranic verse: "So let him not remove you from Paradise, so you would suffer" (Quran 20:117). The objective of this research to elucidate the contextual framework of the verse, examine its connection to the preceding verses,  illustrate the pertinence of Adam’s narrative in this specific placement within Surah Taha to the antecedent content, elucidate the rationale behind Satan’s animosity towards Adam and his progeny, explain the wisdom behind specifically attributing distress to Adam rather than Eve, extract the implications embedded within the verse, and illuminate the profound truths to which it alludes.The study employs an inductive methodological approach, drawing from classical exegetical works to develop a comprehensive analytical examination of the verse concerning distress, its underlying meanings, and derived implications. Additionally, an analytical approach is utilized to extract the implications, truths, and meanings contained within the verse.
