Abstract

The study aims to analyze the methodology of Sheikh Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi in interpreting the legal (Ahkam) verses in Surat al-Ma’idah and Surat al-An‘am, and to clarify his approach in dealing with Qur’anic rulings. The research problem lies in understanding how Tantawi engaged with the verses of rulings in these two chapters.
