Abstract
Objectives: This study explores the Qur’anic methodology in responding to doubts about its divine origin by examining three key dimensions: the nature of the doubt, the skeptic, and the preacher. Addressing these aspects together enables a deeper understanding of the Qur’anic response.
Methodology: Three main methods were used: the inductive approach to identify relevant verses from tafsir literature, the analytical method to extract Qur’anic response strategies, and the descriptive method to systematically present these strategies.
Results: The Qur’an’s response framework is triadic, involving the content of the doubt, the skeptic’s identity, and the preacher’s stance. Its approaches include denial, deliberate silence, truth clarification, rational argumentation, admonition, mercy, and guidance for the preacher.
Originality: This research uniquely compiles all major doubts about the Qur’an’s origin and offers an integrated analysis of its response methods, highlighting the Qur’an’s miraculous rhetorical adaptability tailored to different interlocutors.
