  • Al-Mishkat Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences, an international peer-reviewed scientific journal, issued by the Deanship of Scientific Research at the World Islamic Sciences and Education University.
  • Headquarter of the journal: World Islamic Sciences and Education University, Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
  • The journal publishes three issues annually.

 

Journal Objectives:

  1. Contribute to the dissemination of original scientific knowledge and its progress in the field of humanities and social sciences.
  2. Contribute to the preservation, consolidation and pride of the Arab and Islamic nation's identity and values.
  3. Contribute to the construction of human civilization.
  4. Scientific treatment of contemporary issues and problems.
  5. Publishing research and specialized studies in language, literature, history, political, social, educational and psychological sciences and related fields of knowledge

Scope of Journal:

  1. Al-Mishkat journal publishes original research that contains a scientific addition to knowledge in the field of humanities and social studies from inside and outside the university in both Arabic and English.
  2. The journal is interested in publishing theoretical studies and critical reviews that cover in depth one of the branches of knowledge that belong to the journal's specialization.
  3. The journal publishes applied studies and/or studies related to the current situation in Arab and/or Islamic countries, individually or collectively, provided that these manuscripts are committed to the accepted method and methodology in this case.
  4. Publishing reviews of recent books, published no more than two years, related to one of the branches of knowledge that belong to the journal’s specialization, provided that these reviews come in accordance with the recognized principles.
  5. Publishing critical reviews and comments on scientific activity from scientific conferences, symposia, and research seminars.
  6. The journal publishes its response to the research and studies published in it.

  7. The journal welcomes publishing summaries of university theses related to branches of knowledge that belong to the journal's specialization.
