Abstract

The present paper tackles the concept of /kada/ and its variants from a syntactic perspective which have been  given a full chapter by Syntactician who parsed them  as incomplete verbs followed by a subject and a predicate. The predicate should be a verbal sentence with a present simple verb.

Such approach of parsing is governed by the concepts of reference and the parsing factor that overlooks the semantic implications of \kada\.The researcher adopted a descriptive analytical; approach that maintains a balance  between the parsing factor and its semantic function.
