The treatise of Sheikh Mustafa Al-Armanaki Al-Antali, tagged with: “Risaletun fi tashih al-daad” is one of the many treatises and books that dealt with an important topic in the science of Tajweed and phonetics, namely, This treatise gains its importance from the connection of its subject with the letters of the Holy Book. Reading it correctly is one of the pillars of prayer, which is the culmination and crown of acts of worship. This thesis, as it becomes clear to us from its title, is concerned with the issue of correcting the pronunciation of the letter daad in which there was a lot of melody and distortion until this distortion became a means to make it a rule for those who were unable to receive the Holy Qur’an correctly from those who specialized in it, which prompted the author to write his letter. In it, the author was concerned with the issue of the necessity of differentiating between daad and zaa in pronunciation when reciting the Qur’an, citing an abundance of arguments and evidence. And it appears from his words his burning and his sorrow over the corruption of the pronunciation of the letter daad, which was a reality in his time, and his arrival to the point of making it a rule, so he wanted to refute all of that, and establish and show the argument against those who differed from the majority of scholars. He also talked about some of the letters whose exits and qualities are related to the exit and qualities of the daad, so he elaborated on the letter daad in terms of its exits and qualitie compared to the rest of those letters, to show the distinction and differences between them, so that all of them are pronounced correctly. Accordingly, it was necessary to take care of this treatise and its realization, even if there is something similar to it and what the Islamic Library overflows from its peers of treatises and books. Because science is only established and confirmed by repetition and revision. In order not to keep this message in manuscript form on the shelves of libraries, And for the sake of honoring the author who strived to clarify the truth in the subject of his message, this message was completed in accordance with the principles considered by the people of the field of investigation.
