Abstract

This study aims at identifying the extent of physical education teachers' (PETs) interest in developing the concept of school sports in the in the Al-Quwaisimah District Education Directorate from their perspectives, The researcher utilized a 30 items questionnaire consisted of three domains (sport and health culture - Physical fitness and wellness- modern technology) passed to a sample of (84) male and female PETs, The researcher used a set of appropriate statistical procedures for the study, the results of which concluded that the fields of study came with high degree, with the exception of the field of modern technology with Average degree. Also, the results did not show any statistically significant differences in the variables of the study (gender and work experience). Based on that, the study recommends the necessity of supporting PETs keeping up with both developed modern methods of teaching and the concepts that contribute in building school sports that support the development of future generations.
