Abstract

This paper aims at investigating the literary image in artistic prose in Andalusia in terms of the interplay between prose and poetry with its formation in all its simple, compound and extended patterns. This study is significant in dealing with a topic that has been discussed only by few researchers through studying intertextuality and textual coherence. The researchers have not stopped at some types of literary images associated with the formation of poetry and prose together, in which its use was distinctive by the authors in Andalusia, such as the circular image in poetry, which was discussed by researchers. It is hoped that this study will add a value to other literary studies dealing with the theme of literary image. In order to achieve the objective of this paper, it was divided into two sections and a conclusion: the textual interplay in the image and the stylistic symmetry.
