Abstract

The phoneme of "Lamm" stands out - among the sounds in Arabic - in the name of Allah with originality of Tafkheem; Fattening, while Tarqeeq (Attenuation); Thinness is an allophonic variation that occurs within it. This phenomenon is one of the unique features in languages. The phoneme of Tafkheem of Lamm has its uniqueness in English through its resemblance of phoneme of Tafkheem of Lamm in the name of Allah. This is due to what has been realized in the name of Allah of Tafkheem features in Arabic that are not present or realized in other Tafkheem of Lamms. Thus, this study aims to explore similarities of nature of distinctive features in Tafkheem of Lamm in English and of nature of distinctive features in Tafkheem of Lamm in the name of Allah. In addition to, what are the most important phonemic factors that may have contributed to development in phenomenon of Tafkheem of Lamm in English. Phonetic approach between Tafkheem of Lamm in English and Tafkheem of Lamm in the name of Allah draws attention to a new and unique phonetic positioning in Arabic. The study problem is limited to the following research question: Is there a phonetic Tafkheem relationship between Tafkheem of Lamm in English and Tafkheem of Lamm in the name of Alla.
