Abstract

This research, titled "Gharfaton min Yam" by Abul-Qasim al-Shabbi: A Rhetorical Analysis Study," aims to study and analyze the poem "A Room from Yamm" by Abul-Qasim al-Shabbi, examining its rhetorical and artistic characteristics. The study seeks to highlight the uniqueness and literary value of the text, the individual mastery of the poet, and his excellence in transcending ordinary speech to sublime poetry.

The research begins with an introduction to Abul-Qasim al-Shabbi, his life, and the Tunisian environment, which helps in analyzing the poem. It then addresses its architectural structure, at both the lexical level and the stages the text progresses through. The study also focuses on its title, internal and external musicality, and various rhetorical issues such as pronouns, sentences, composition, verbal and nominal phrases, poetic embellishments, similes, metaphors, enumeration, abbreviation, and allusions of various kinds, employing a descriptive analytical approach throughout.
