سقوط المدن في الشّعر الأندلسي قصيدة رثاء الأندلس للشّاعر المجهول أنموذجا تحليليّا

Abstract

       This study aims at investigating the impact of the fall of the Andalusian cities substantially and morally, as portrayed by an anonymous poet in his long poem lamenting the loss of Andalusia. This poem was examined using two aspects, where the first aspect concerns the content and themes through which the poet portrayed the fall tragedy of the cities followed by the worst substantial and moral effects experienced by their people and those who suffered from such a great disaster. The second aspect is related to the structure of the stylistic levels: phonetic, syntactic, and rhetorical, showing the role of style in expressing the topic of the poem and its core of the depiction of the fall tragedy of the cities and the consequences. Having discussed the poem's contextual and stylistic aspects, it was found out that the poet echoed the fall tragedy of a group of cities, starting by picturing the fall of Randa and how it was destroyed and damaged. Then he continued depicting what happened in other cities like Malaga, Maria, and Granada. To this end, there appear two other aspects in the poem: blaming and censuring, where the poet attempted to arouse the morale, while the other aspect was concerned with the poet's resorting to Allah and supplicating Him to support them to defeat the unbelievers. Regarding the stylistic structure of the poem, the study of linguistic levels showed the physical and moral impact of the poem on the place and its people, where these levels combined in terms of sound, rhythm, vocabulary, structures or  artistic imaging to express the focal text of this lamentation poem of the tragic fall of the Andalusian cities.
