The Arabic proverb forms a sort of Arabic prose, and it tells aspecific event that took place at a specific time, indicating aspecific meaning. Then the proverb used in a similar occasion to the event in which the proverb was said, so that the proverb performs the same meaning. The Arabic proverb has been said in many eras; such as pre-Islamic, Islamic and modern.
This makes Arabic proverb developed in indication and meaning. The Arabic proverb takes the same considerations of Arabic prose when establishing a linguistic base and when protesting for an existing linguistic rule, based on the time when it was said. The holy Quran has many proverbs which take a special and miraculous pattern and differs from human-made proverbs. Thus, the Quranic proverbs deserve further attention and investigations.
