Abstract

This study aims to know the development of the Women's Union's programs between the years )1993-1996(, through the programs carried out by the Union in order to raise the status of the Union and its development, and work to raise the level of Jordanian women through their achievements.

This study examine the programs of the Jordanian Women's Union, including the Children's Guest House, by identifying the nature of the activities provide by the program, as well as the legal literacy program and the family guidance line.

The study concluded that the Jordanian Women's Union has made great efforts to develop the social and political role of women through its programs, which are: The Child Guest House Program, Legal Literacy Program, and the Family Guidance Line. These programs have worked to achieve the goals and objectives of the Union, by providing better solutions for the life of children in general and women in particular, and supporting them through the programs developed and implemented by the Union.
