This research aims to explain the three dialect sounds (lam, nun, and ra) in classical Arabic, and the view of phonetic scholars on them, ancient and modern, in a clear description of them by mentioning the place of pronunciation to facilitate the description, with an explanation of their different pronunciation variations in Arabic between free and restricted in a classical and dialect distribution. It has an effect on its acoustic characteristics to indicate that the sound is restricted in terms of occurrence or affected in terms of hearing by the sounds that precede or follow it, in order to indicate the influence of the audio context surrounding it. In doing so, we relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, concluding in the details of the research that the greater the ability of their phonemes to replace other phonemes, the greater the distributive equivalence between them and sometimes led to a change in meaning.
