Abstract

The study aims to examine the grammatical and semantic levels by applying them to the stories of grammarians in biographical books, employing textual standards. It relies on a descriptive approach to extrapolating textual models from grammarians' biographical books, and utilizes an analytical approach to identify the textual and functional standards of the stories. The study interrogated the texts to conclude that each story of the grammarians formed a major textual structure with consistent standards under which many structures, events, meanings and values ​​are fulfilled, giving some structures stability in the mind of the recipient - especially if they were employed in the Qur’an - as they presented to the reader the melody and correctness in a narrative form; In order to achieve the standard of acceptability in modern textual science, she concluded that the stories of grammarians are teeming with subtle grammatical issues. She addressed the permissibility of using the sound masculine plural of the five nouns, such as (these are Abun and Abin), the permissibility of the accusative or nominative cases after 'idha, the use of (laysa) as an exception tool meaning (except), and (laysa al-wala) and (laysa al-muhla), explaining some of them by linking them to the dialects and languages ​​of the Arabs. At the semantic level, she highlighted the role of metaphor in the stories of grammarians, pointing to new connotations that mimic the art of linguistic riddles or allusion, clarifying the role of body movement and facial features in highlighting the subtle meaning or obscuring it from the listener. She employed the phenomenon of mispronunciation in the stories of grammarians in an applied manner, demonstrating the danger of this phenomenon in concealing the subtle meaning.
