Abstract

Abstract: The current study aimed to identify the relationship between post-traumatic stress disorder and psychosocial support among wives of martyrs in Jordan. The descriptive correlational approach was used. The study sample consisted of (206) wives of martyrs. The post-traumatic stress disorder scale and the psychosocial support scale were applied. The results showed that the level of post-traumatic stress disorder and psychosocial support was at an moderate level. It also showed the existence of an inverse relationship between post-traumatic stress disorder and psychosocial support. The study recommended providing guidance centers to provide psychological and social care that helps in psychosocial adaptation.
