Abstract

The impact of linguistic context on determining meanings in artificial intelligence models
(an applied study)

Abstract:

- Objective: To Reveal the best software in artificial intelligence models with Arabic language content in deriving different contexts and indicating prevalent meanings before prioritizing them, even if these expressions are taken out of known or less common contexts.

- Methodology: The researcher relied on the comparative analytical method, which is based on tracking the interpretation of artificial intelligence models for the used expressions, then analyzing the results and comparing them to reach the best artificial intelligence model for contextual analysis in case a phrase has more than one meaning or usage.

- Findings: Taking into consideration that the use of artificial intelligence models is inevitable in the future, the research reached a number of results, the most important of which is that instruction or guidance must be based on clear frameworks when weighing meanings. In addition, each AI model’s flaws and advantages, were compared to arrive at the most suitable and profound model within the framework of Arabic research.

- Implications: This humble study enhances researcher's ability to adopt artificial intelligence models in the future, as it is an unavoidable matter. Thus, the study serves as a small gateway that may benefit researchers in Arabic sciences and the Holy Quran, as it contributes to serving the research community.

- Conclusions: The research concluded that the artificial intelligence models that favor the better use of words are the ones that rely on presenting different answers to favor meanings. The ones that are capable of presenting these answers without direct intervention or precise guidance from humans. Additionally, the self-learning artificial intelligence models are the most favorable for meanings and the fastest to develop, especially those that update their information banks according to questions and guidance in a shorter routine time frame. The research also concluded a preference for the artificial intelligence models Chat GPT and Claude in Arabic language research over other targeted models, with Claude being the best in education and in clarifying details during explanation and interpretation.
