Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate the predictive power of counseling supervision on the level of job satisfaction among school counselors in public schools in Jerash Governorate. The study employed a descriptive, correlational, predictive design, and the sample consisted of (70) male and female counselors who were randomly selected. To achieve the study’s objectives, a counseling supervision scale was developed, consisting of (35) items covering five dimensions: guidance, consultation, support, training, and evaluation. In addition, a job satisfaction scale was developed, consisting of (35) items. The results revealed a high level of counseling supervision across all its dimensions, as well as a high level of job satisfaction. Furthermore, the findings showed that counseling supervision predicts job satisfaction by (38.6%), with a positive relationship between the two variables. The study recommended strengthening training and supervisory support programs, diversifying supervisory methods periodically, improving the work environment, and reducing occupational burnout.
