This study aims to uncover the narrative techniques that the novelist Jalal Barjas employed in constructing his novel.

The importance of the study lies in the fact that it is the first study, to date, to address a set of narrative techniques in Jalal Barjas's novel "The Symphony of the Seventh Day," represented in textual thresholds, parallel texts, the narrator, spatial description, and character description.

The study successfully revealed the role of parallel texts in constructing the narrative text by linking them to the implicit meanings embedded within the novel's chapters. It also contributed to uncovering the role of the omniscient narrator in guiding the reader toward the novelist's objective, encompassing all that reveals the text's hidden meanings. Furthermore, it demonstrated the role of the virtual spatial setting and the character descriptions from intellectual and social perspectives, highlighting the transformations these elements underwent that impacted the sequence and escalation of events.
