Abstract

The study aimed to identify the Possession Degree of Counseling Students Who Expected To Graduate For E-Counseling Skills and Their Relationship with the Performance Anxiety from Their Point Of View, according to the variables of gender and GPA. The study followed a descriptive correlational approach. The study sample included (145) male and female students expected to graduate from the Department of Counseling and Mental Health at the World Islamic Sciences and Education University. For the purpose of the study, two scales were developed: one for e-counseling skills and the other for performance anxiety. Their psychometric properties were verified and found to be appropriate. The study results showed that the expected graduating counseling students possessed average e-counseling skills, and their level of performance anxiety was high. The results also indicated a significant inverse correlation between the degree to which graduating counseling students possess e-counseling skills and their performance anxiety from their Point Of View. There were no significant differences in their degree of e-counseling skills and performance anxiety according to the variables of gender and cumulative grade point average. The study recommends providing actual training sessions for students via electronic platforms, especially in field training courses.
