SUMMARYThis research deals with the diagnosis of nature in pre-Islamic poetry, trying to answer some of the questions that come to mind, including: What prompted the poet to diagnose poetry? What types of diagnosis in pre-Islamic poetry? What are the most prominent diagnostic mechanisms in pre-Islamic poetry? The research aims to highlight the phenomenon of diagnosis in the pre-Islamic poetry and its types and its impact in the construction of the poem of ignorance. As well as examining the diagnostic mechanisms used by the pre-Islamic poet. The importance of this research is that it provides poetic models of the phenomenon of diagnosis, and shows the impact on the structure of the poem, and the research shows that the pre-Islamic poetry is not without the romance denied by the scholars as they put pre-poetry contrary to romantic poetry.
