The Impact of Intangible Asset Management on Organizational Waste in the State Property Management in Kuwait

Abstract

       The study aimed to reveal the impact of intangible asset management on organizational waste in the State Property Management. The descriptive analytical approach was used, and the study population consisted of all employees in state property management. The sample consisted of 45 individuals, and an electronic questionnaire was used to collect data.

      After conducting a statistical analysis process, the study concluded that the level of management of intangible assets was to a moderate degree and that the level of organizational waste was to a moderate degree. There is also a statistically significant effect for the management of intangible assets in their dimensions (knowledge management, Innovations management, information technology management, patent management) on organizational waste in its dimensions (economic effects, psychological effects, social effects) in the State Property Management. There is a statistically significant effect for managing intangible assets in its dimensions (knowledge management, innovations management, information technology management, patent management) on the economic effects in the State Property Management. There is a statistically significant effect for managing intangible assets and their dimensions (knowledge management, innovations management, information technology management, patent management) on psychological effects in the State Property Management. There is a statistically significant effect for intangible assets management tangible dimensions (knowledge management, innovations management, information technology management, patent management) on social effects in the State Property Management of Kuwait.

      The study recommended the necessity of working to include a culture of intangible asset management in addition to the quality system in order to achieve the objectives published in state property management.
