The The Impact of Digital Auditing on Reducing Internal Control Risks at Jordanian Commercial Banks
Abstract
Prepared
This study aimed to identify the impact of digital auditing in reducing internal control risks in Jordanian banks listed on the Amman Stock Exchange. The study was applied to 13 Jordanian commercial banks listed on the Amman Stock Exchange at the end of the year 2021. The study's results showed a statistically significant impact of the aspects of digital auditing (data analysis, data mining, machine learning, and cloud computing) combined in reducing the internal control risks listed in the Amman Stock Exchange. Moreover, the study recommended the interest of Jordanian commercial banks in increasing the speed of generating big data at a faster rate than traditional data, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process and to accomplish audit tasks at the least cost, effort, and time, which helps to increase the quality of audit services and reduce the risks that may be exposed in the audit process.
