Abstract

The study aimed to identify the capabilities of the information technology infrastructure and its impact on the quality of administrative decisions at Al Manaseer Companies Group in Jordan.
The study population consisted of (290) managers in the top and middle management at Al Manaseer Companies Group in Jordan. The study used a stratified equal random sample, distributed among the branches by (9) questionnaires for each branch of the company, and (170) valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis.
The study used the descriptive analytical method to reach the results, where the study was explanatory in terms of purpose, and quantitative in terms of mechanism and procedures.
The study found a statistically significant effect at a significant level (≤0.05) of the capabilities of the information technology infrastructure with its dimensions (access, depth, richness, aggregation) on the quality of administrative decisions at Al Manaseer Companies Group in Jordan.
It was also found that the coefficients of (reach and depth) of the dimensions of the IT infrastructure were significant, while the coefficients of (richness and aggregation) were not significant
Finally, the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are reconsidering the administrative structure of Al Manaseer Companies Group in Jordan, and creating a specialized department for information and communication technology at the group’s center. In addition, introducing multimedia information technology that provides different signals such as body language, facial expression, and tone of voice, to activate the impact of the richness of the capabilities of the information technology infrastructure. And focusing on building data warehouse models to access data in a more aggregated way to support the quality of administrative decisions and activate the impact of aggregation on the capabilities of the information technology infrastructure.
