Abstract

The study aimed to identify risk management in its dimensions (risk identification, risk assessment, risk response, risk control) and its impact on the flexibility of the supply chain in its dimensions (product flexibility, supply flexibility, operations flexibility, delivery flexibility, information systems flexibility), and the study community consisted of All the administrators working at (the upper and middle levels) in the Arab Potash Company, and their number was (135), and the questionnaire was used as a main tool for data collection, and the purposeful or intentional sample was used to deal with a small community, where (135) were distributed. Questionnaire: (122) valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis, with a rate of (90.3%) of the distributed questionnaires. The study found several results, most notably: that there is a statistically significant effect at a significant level (α≤0.05) for risk management with its dimensions (risk identification, risk assessment, risk response, risk control) on the flexibility of the supply chain in the Arab Potash Company. The study recommends several recommendations, the most prominent of which are: the interest of the Arab Potash Company in identifying risks by reviewing scientific standards, defining the risk matrix and reviewing it periodically by a specialized team. And finding a fair incentives and promotion system to support the creative ideas of the efforts of administrators.
