Abstract

The veracity of the poetic experience is an artistic formulation of a human experience resulting from the real suffering the poet experienced or lived with. It is a true experience of a certain feeling that overwhelmed the poet and pushed him to artistic creation. What is meant by the veracity of the experience is that the artist or poet has gone through a situation, real or imaginative, that excited him, stirred his conscience and inflamed his passion. Such a situation has consequently made his artistic output an echo of himself and an image of his thought, as true suffering is the origin of the poetic experience; it enhances integration into the event, deepens the poet's connection with his subject, and makes a solid base for his emotions and feelings. This paper aims to trace this concept in the poetry of a contemporary poet, Mustafa Wahbi Al-Tal "Arar", who was a poet, a committed person with a consistent personality not only in his behavior and attitudes, but in his life in general, and this is what the veracity of the poetic experience really requires, whether it occurs in an artistic or realistic context.

I concluded that Arar's poetry was an honest image of himself, and that his social and personal behavior were remarkably interconnected, and that he was a poet who was honest with himself as he was with others, and this honesty required extreme courage that is available only to a few people. Arar was one of the few that adhered to his honesty with himself and his honesty with his community, from his youth until his death. If we strike a balance between the texts of his poetry and the different circumstances of his life, we find a clear correspondence between his poetry and these conditions. In a nutshell, I posit that his poetry as a whole reflects this artistic honesty that embodied most of his poetic talents.

I set out to investigate this phenomenon in the poetic experience of "Arar" in some of the basic purposes of his poetry, such as his national and patriotic poetry, his poetry in the "gypsies" community, in whom he found what was lacking in his society, and his flirting poetry that reflects his experience with beauty, The beauty of "woman", on the one hand, and the beauty of "nature", the nature of his homeland, "Jordan", on the other the beauty which he has embraced, immersing his soul in hers.

Keywords: Arar, Jordan, poetic experience, honesty, commitment, al- Nawar( gypsies).
