The study aimed to identify the level of effectiveness of a training program based on behavioral theory to improve the performance and cognitive competencies of mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder and. Or psychological sciences, and they have never been trained to deal with their children, and a measure of performance and cognitive competencies for mothers prepared by the researcher was used,. There are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of the degrees of mothers of children with severe autism spectrum disorder On the scale of cognitive and performance competencies, where the value of z was (21.807), which is statistically significant at the level of significance (α = 0.05), and these differences were in favor of the post-measurement, , the study recommended the importance of training mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder to improve their children's skill
