The Degree of Creative Leadership Practice by Principals of Public Primary Schools in Qasaba Irbid District from The Point of View of Co- Principals

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the degree of creative leadership practice by principals of public primary schools in Qasaba Irbid district from the point of view of co- principals. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was used to reveal the degree of creative leadership practice by principals of public primary schools in Qasaba Irbid district from the point of view of co- principals, it consisted of (30) items. The study sample consisted of (151) co- principals in basic schools in the Irbid Qasaba district, including (68) male and (83) female co- principals who were selected by a simple random method. The study results indicated the degree of creative leadership practice by principals of public primary schools in Qasaba Irbid district from the point of view of co- principals was high. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of creative leadership practice by principals of public primary schools in Qasaba Irbid district from the point of view of co- principals according to the variables of gender and work experience. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommends the need for school leaders to adopt the concept of creative leadership because of its positive role in achieving the school’s mission, vision and goals, and in motivating its employees.
