Abstract

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of employing GeoGebra Software in teaching Geometric Transformations of Functions on the achievement and attitude towards mathematics. This experimental study utilized quasi-experimental design with pre- and post- tests. Participants were selected by non-probability sampling technique from grade eleven at a School in Amman. Participants were (57) students, distributed into two classes. One was randomly assigned as experimental group, consisting of (30) students, while the other group served as the control group, consisting of (27) students. Achievement test and an Attitude towards math tool were developed. The study results revealed statistically significant differences at (α= 0.05) between the mean scores of the two groups in both achievement and attitude towards mathematics in favor of the experimental group. The study recommends using GeoGebra software in teaching mathematics.
