The Effectiveness of Using a Strategy Based on the (TRIZ) Theory in Developing Mathematical Desire Among Eleventh Grade Academic Students

       This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using a strategy based on the TRIZ theory in developing mathematical desire among eleventh-grade academic students. The study used a quasi-experimental approach on a conveniently selected sample of (48) eleventh-grade academic students. They were divided into two groups: an experimental group consisting of (24) students who were taught using a strategy based on the TRIZ theory, and a control group consisting of (24) students who were taught using the traditional method. To achieve the study's goal, the researchers developed a mathematical desire scale. The results showed statistically significant differences between the averages of students in the experimental and control groups in their performance on the mathematical desire scale, in favor of the students in the experimental group. The study recommended the necessity of employing the TRIZ theory in teaching mathematics by teachers and those responsible for the educational process to achieve more of the desired educational goals.
