This study aimed to identify the impact of a modeling-based strategy on developing critical thinking and future thinking skills in geography among tenth-grade students in Jordan. The study relied on a quasi-experimental approach by developing a scale for critical thinking skills and a scale for future thinking skills. The study was applied to a sample of (76) male and female students from the tenth grade at Othman Bin Affan School, affiliated with the Directorate of Education of Amman First.
The results showed a statistically significant positive effect at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) of using a geography modeling-based strategy in instilling critical thinking and future thinking skills among tenth-grade students in Jordan.
The study recommended integrating geographic modeling strategies into curricula to enhance critical thinking and future thinking skills.
