The Effect of Using an Interactive Educational Software Based on (Quizlet) on self-learning and scholastic achievement in geography among seventh grade students in Jordan

This study aimed to identify the effect of using an interactive educational software based on (Quizlet) on self-learning and academic achievement in the subject of geography among ninth grade students in Jordan. The quasi-experimental approach was used. The study sample consisted of (100) male and female ninth grade students in the Omariya schools in the University District in the capital, Amman. The students were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group with (50) students, and the control group with (50) students.The self-learning scale and the achievement test in geography for the second unit, the hydrosphere, were applied to the two groups before and after the experiment. The results of the study showed that there was no effect of the interactive educational software based on (Quizlet) on self-learning as a whole. They also showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the significance level (α=0.05) between the average performance of the students of the two groups on the achievement test in geography, attributed to the use of the interactive educational software based on (Quizlet) for the experimental group and in favor of the post-test.educational curricula to help students learn independently and increase academic achievement, The study recommends integrating the educational Quizlet software into educational curricula to help students learn independently and develop academic achievement for student.
