The Impact of Digital Transformation on Organizational Performance: Acase Study of Jordan Kuwait Bank

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the impact of digital transformation in its dimensions (digital strategy, digital leadership, digital culture, digital capabilities, and digital infrastructure) on organizational performance in its dimensions (learning and growth dimension, internal operations dimension, customer dimension, and environmental dimension) in Jordan Kuwait Bank. The study population consisted of managers in senior and middle management in Jordan Kuwait Bank. The study adopted the quantitative "descriptive analytical" approach. A questionnaire was designed to collect primary data and distributed to the study sample, which amounted to (130) individuals, using a comprehensive survey method. (94) valid questionnaires were retrieved for statistical analysis. To analyze the data and test the study hypotheses, a set of statistical methods were used through the statistical analysis program (SPSS).

The study reached the most prominent results, the high level of relative importance of digital transformation and organizational performance in the Jordan Kuwait Bank, and the presence of a statistically significant effect at a significance level ( 0.05) for digital transformation in its dimensions (digital strategy, digital leadership, digital culture, digital capabilities, and digital infrastructure) on organizational performance in its combined dimensions (learning and growth dimension, internal operations dimension, customer dimension, and environmental dimension) in the Jordan Kuwait Bank.

The researchers presented recommendations, the most prominent of which was providing appropriate and necessary support to employees in the Jordan Kuwait Bank and raising their awareness of the importance and benefits of digital transformation. The necessity of paying attention to enhancing digital leadership in the bank by holding training courses and workshops for managers on digital transformation and its important role in improving organizational performance.
